Minutes The Club Board Meeting
October 25, 2016 1:00 PM
Board members in attendance: JH, JM, JG, and SD.
- Maintenance and other items completed:
- Gorgeous Decks has completed maintenance and repair on three decks so far.
- Bulletin boards have been installed in each elevator.
- SD has made arrangements for outdoor bug spraying with Beeline Pest Control on/around 10/28/16. This will become a semi-annual maintenance item.
- Future maintenance and to-do items:
- SD will arrange for the removal of grease and dirt on the carpet outside unit #305.
- The repairs to the ceiling in the north garage should be completed within the next several weeks.
- SD will arrange for the replacement of bulbs with LED bulbs in the light posts in the overflow parking lot. This should improve reliability and energy efficiency.
- The board in considering a change to the House Rules to include a pet fee for pet owners, and an electricity usage fee for electric vehicle owners to help offset associated cleanup costs, and electric costs respectively. A decision should be reached during next month’s board meeting.
- SD will send an email to all owners regarding fire codes, general safety, and pet rules.
- We have received an $8600 bill from Firetrol for the diagnosis and repair of the leak in the system. The board has asked SD to negotiate a better rate if possible.
- The meeting was adjourned.
- Notes to owners & residents:
- Friendly reminder to bike owners who store their bikes in the stairwells: Please do not secure your bikes to fixtures such as stair railings, or plumbing pipes and valves. If finding a space is an issue, consider storing your bike in your storage unit, or on the bike rack in the southwest stairwell where there is still room.
- Owners, please return the proxy that accompanied the rental cap flyer to SD. This is a great opportunity to let your voice be heard.
