Minutes The Club Board Meeting

Board members in attendance: JH, JM, JG, and SD.

 

1. Maintenance and other items completed:
2. Gorgeous Decks has completed maintenance and repair on three decks so far.
3. Bulletin boards have been installed in each elevator.
4. SD has made arrangements for outdoor bug spraying with Beeline Pest Control on/around 10/28/16. This will become a semi-annual maintenance item.

 

1. Future maintenance and to-do items:
2. SD will arrange for the removal of grease and dirt on the carpet outside unit #305.
3. The repairs to the ceiling in the north garage should be completed within the next several weeks.
4. SD will arrange for the replacement of bulbs with LED bulbs in the light posts in the overflow parking lot. This should improve reliability and energy efficiency.
5. The board in considering a change to the House Rules to include a pet fee for pet owners, and an electricity usage fee for electric vehicle owners to help offset associated cleanup costs, and electric costs respectively. A decision should be reached during next month’s board meeting.
6. SD will send an email to all owners regarding fire codes, general safety, and pet rules.
7. We have received an $8600 bill from Firetrol for the diagnosis and repair of the leak in the system. The board has asked SD to negotiate a better rate if possible.

1. Notes to owners & residents:
2. Friendly reminder to bike owners who store their bikes in the stairwells: Please do not secure your bikes to fixtures such as stair railings, or plumbing pipes and valves. If finding a space is an issue, consider storing your bike in your storage unit, or on the bike rack in the southwest stairwell where there is still room.
3. Owners, please return the proxy that accompanied the rental cap flyer to SD. This is a great opportunity to let your voice be heard.
